We’ve all seen a flight on Google Maps with a blue dot for Boston, a red dot for Seattle, a green dot for Atlanta and so on.
The map was designed to show flight status and estimated time to arrival.
But some flights actually go from Boston to Atlanta, or vice versa.
Google Maps, however, has been unable to show you the same info for every destination.
“We are working hard to fix the issue,” Google spokesperson Chris Cox said in a statement.
“We are currently testing new geo-fetching technology to ensure all flights on Google maps have accurate flight information.”
We’ll be keeping an eye on this issue.
In the meantime, here are the 10 most popular flight destinations on Google, as determined by searches using the word “atlanta” and “flight.”
