The Southwest Airlines flight that was delayed after landing in Texas ended up taking off on a Wednesday.
It was the third time in two months that Southwest had made the flight.
Southwest Flight 879 landed in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday at 2:22 a.m.
The aircraft, which was carrying 767 passengers, made an emergency landing in Houston at 2 a.k. on Wednesday, according to Southwest.
The flight crew were transported to the hospital and released on Thursday.
The flight was originally scheduled to depart at 6 a.M. on Friday, but it landed in Houston before taking off, according the company.
According to a statement from Southwest, the crew members were treated for minor injuries and returned to Southwest in good condition.
“The flight crewmembers were taken to the Hospital for Treatment of Serious Injuries after the flight crew successfully completed a successful emergency landing at 3:30 a.l.m., and were subsequently transported to our Houston, Texas facility for further treatment,” the statement said.
Passengers disembarked from the plane at the airport, where they were met by other passengers.
When asked about the delays, Southwest said, “The aircraft was delayed due to the flight weather and runway conditions that were not ideal for this flight.”

On June 8, 2018, the airline said a Delta Air Lines 737, which had made a stopover in Dallas, Texas on a flight from Philadelphia, was grounded due to bad weather.
There have been other incidents on Southwest Airlines.
In May 2018, a Southwest flight from Chicago to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport was delayed at Houston International Airport after passengers complained about bad weather, according Toews.
Other Southwest Airlines flights have been delayed in the past.
Flight 877 was delayed by five hours when it left Dallas on March 31, 2018.
It landed in Wichita, Kansas, about five hours later.
Two days later, a flight on Southwest from Houston to Denver was delayed because of bad weather in Oklahoma City.
